PARDS is a unique program developed in Grande Prairie to provide therapeutic horseback riding for disabled youth. The popularity of this program is evidenced in its need to expand into a new facility to house the growing demand of these special programs.

The new facility is set in a wooded area next to an expanse of Crown land with sand dunes and tall pine trees. The complex includes areas for outdoor riding trails, riding paddocks, indoor arena, offices, therapy rooms, horse boarding stalls, a tack room, horse grooming area, raised accessible horse platform, kitchen, staff room and ample room for future expansion.
