High Prairie Fire Hall Addition & Renovation

Renovations and additions to the existing Fire Hall included a new wash bay, ladder truck storage, offices, meeting rooms, control center, training room and kitchen. The existing fire hall was modernized to accommodate extra emergency vehicles. New insulated metal panel cladding and highly efficient heating and electrical systems were incorporated in the design to decrease the facilities overall energy consumption.

The High Prairie Fire Hall project consisted of a 12,700 square feet station housing room for 6 fire apparatus vehicles. The station is run on a volunteer basis and services the Town of High Prairie’s population of 3,000 people, as well as the surrounding community of an additional 3,000 people within the Municipal District of Big Lakes. The fire hall project brought the existing facility up to new standards for faster, more efficient fire fighting service.
