Debolt Fire Hall

Completion: 2016
Size: ± 2,300 sq.m.
Location: Debolt, Alberta

The Debolt Fire Hall is a ± 24,000 square foot new build that was designed for the volunteer fire fighter community surrounding Debolt, Alberta. This design was used for a series of smaller municipalities that operated similarly and could use the building in a similar way. The fire hall consists of 5 double bays for apparatus, as well as an additional wash bay, and full services for the crew including washrooms, offices, lounge, training rooms and a fitness room. The building was constructed with pre-engineered structure and pre-insulated metal panels for ease of construction. The exterior has a brick base and highlights of blue in the entry and hose tower for heightened visibility to the community.

The fire hall is located just off the secondary highways that pass through Debolt. The fire hall is a place that the community can come to in times of emergency and provides a safe secure place when required. The interior finishes were designed for durability, low maintenance and longevity so that the facility will reach maximum life expectancy.
